Dragon Garden Nursery

Visit our nursery, adjacent to the Hawaii Bonsai Culture Center, where a tempting and extensive stock of starter and specimen trees, imported garden and bonsai containers, and rare water lilies await your selection.

The Hawaii Bonsai Culture Center and Dragon Garden Nurseries offer bonsai classes to anyone interested. The classes run for nine Sundays, 3-5p.m. The cost is $95, which includes two starter plants, a textbook and wire. These classes are quite popular and fill up fast. Students from each class have formed their own bonsai club with the encouragement and guidance of Walter Liew.

Bonsai starter plants are also for sale for visitors who would like to take a souvenir home or for people who would like to practice the art of bonsai. Mr. Liew and his staff are always on hand to give suggestions or advice on how to take care of bonsai.
